As WI members who have previously supported, or attended, an exclusive WI event at the National Gallery, I am delighted to send you information of the next event – this time, in person at the Gallery or virtual, using Zoom, the choice is yours…

‘Penning the Picture’ 

Join us at the Sainsbury Wing Theatre in the National Gallery, London (members only) or virtually on Zoom on Friday 26 November 2021, 11am – 4pm.

Discover how National Gallery paintings have formed the inspiration behind fiction and poetry and gain tips for getting your own creative juices flowing in response to artworks.  Hear from National Gallery experts, professional fiction-writers and poets, learn about Artemisia’s Self Portrait as Saint Catherine the painting behind this year’s Lady Denman Cup and hear the winning entries performed by WI members.
