We enjoyed an insight into the world of stunts at our April meeting with a talk by professional stunt woman Lucy Allen. After a dramatic opening compilation of some of her work, Lucy shared her personal journey into the world of stunts drawing on her experience as an exotic dancer, circus performer and actor before making the leap into stunt work. She went on to tell us about her exciting life performing in big films such as Titanic and Skyfall as well as TV dramas & soaps like Boat Story and East Enders. Doubling for the Dames and covering the thrills and spills of driving, falling and leaping as well as the ever present necessity for a thorough risk assessment, this was definitely a case of DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!
