We welcomed our MP Janet Daby to our May meeting. It was really interesting and moving to hear about Janet’s life and how she came to be an MP. It’s was good to know that someone with her experiences of social work and work on behalf of children, as well as of motherhood, is in parliament and contributing to decision-making on our behalf. We really appreciated her warm and friendly way of relating to us. Janet has said that she may able to give us one or two dates to attend a debate in Parliament in the not too distant future.
