‘It was like preparing for the Chelsea Flower Show in just a day’ said Lucy Anne describing the fantastic effort by WI members Kay Dunham, Carolyn Bosworth Davies, Kath Taylor, Alison Streetly and Caroline Powell who proved to be a dab hand with a litter pick! The team were working with other local people on Saturday 29 April to replant the bed near to the park cafe which had been looking a bit unloved. We’re looking forward to seeing the results of their hard work and hope the weather is kind to the new plants over the next few months while they settle in to their new home!
