A huge thank you to all our wonderful leafleteers, cake bakers, sellers and buyers at this year’s Open Studios event which took place over the weekends 15/16 and 22/23 November. As you can see, we had a huge array of cakes to sell which made us very popular with our customers. It’s a great event to take part in, as you can see from the smiles – a really good opportunity to meet other members and a great excuse to bake, buy and eat! Based in Lochaber Hall, we were delighted to support this great community event again. It was lovely to use our personalised bunting (thanks Janice) for the stall for the first time and to display our newly restored banner again. We triumphed over the challenges of the card reader (thanks June) and the inner workings of the water flasks. This is a fabulous fund-raising event for us, allowing us to book some great speakers at our monthly meetings so a big thank you to all, especially Jane and Carolyn for organising the rota and logistics!
