Two great sounding online courses are being offered by the National Federation of Women’s Institutes that you can do anytime and might help to answer some of your questions. They are available for you to do at any time and registration is easy. Just click on the course title for details and to register. This training is provided free of charge. Once your booking has gone through, you will receive an email with a link to the Learn My Way website where you will be asked to register. Once registered you can then return to the training in your own time. Online Basics in association with Learn My Way (Accessible Anytime)
This e-learning module will cover how to search and explore the internet, keep in touch with email, and use public services online – all while being safe and secure. In this course you will learn:
- all about browsing the internet. The course covers using a web browser to view websites, creating bookmarks and what copyright means online.
- what an online form is, how to fill in forms on a website and how to correct mistakes on them. The course will also show you the different ways to complete online forms, such as text boxes and multiple choice answers.
- all about email accounts on the internet. The course covers how to set-up an email account, as well as how to open, read and send emails safely.
- how to search for things on the internet using search engines such as Google. The course covers how to search for websites, using bookmarks and saving images and other files.

Guide to Using Documents in association with Make it Click (Accessible Anytime) This e-learning module will cover the basic features of Microsoft Word and Google Docs, including how to format, manage and share documents. As well as more advanced features, such as working with images and using document templates. This training opportunity includes e-learning and resources in the following topics: using Microsoft Office and Google Docs, writing and formatting text, adding images, writing skills and using Grammarly.
