Garden Museum Trip – April 2019

If you are interested in gardening, churches or history and haven’t visited the Garden Museum since its redevelopment in 2017, you are in for a treat.  It is housed in the medieval and Victorian church of St Mary at Lambeth, and it is well worth a trip.
We had two speakers during our visit, one gave a talk on the history of the building and then the museum curator took us round her favourite items in the exhibition upstairs. Just loved the cucumber straightener.

Our March meeting had a very thoughtful theme as our speaker, Linda Donnelly gave us a fascinating insight into the world of a humanist celebrant.
