Dulwich Picture Gallery Trip – January 2018

An interesting and full day out to Dulwich and the Picture Gallery. We started with a guided tour of the gallery looking at the most notable paintings in the permanent collection and learning about the history of how it all come to be. We then visited the Tove Jannson exhibition which showed her to be an artist of diverse styles – there were painted portraits and landscapes as well as the more graphic Moomins, for which she is famous. Some of us then went on to the Crown and Greyhound for a hearty pub lunch after the excellent gallery shop.



January Meeting – Nicky Lowe – Beginner’s Iyengar Yoga Workshop

A very busy evening for us. Enrolment started for 2018 membership, tickets to be sold for our quiz on 2 Feb and taking names and payment for our gin tasting session next meeting.
