I hope you are well. I’m getting in touch as a Member of the WI myself (Borough Belles!). I work at Royal Museums Greenwich, where our latest major exhibition is Tudors to Windsors: British Royal Portraits. It is a landmark collaboration with London’s National Portrait Gallery and includes over 150 of the finest portraits from across five royal dynasties.
In the exhibition, you will discover how royal portraiture has developed over the last five centuries, from Henry VII to Elizabeth II, and come face-to-face with the kings and queens who have shaped British history. Tudors to Windsors features works by some of the most important artists to have worked in Britain, from Holbein to Lely, Reynolds and Warhol.
