September meeting – Amber Khokhar – Islamic Art

This September meeting we were in the more intimate surroundings of the drama studio at Trinity. We were given a visual trip through the traditions and methods of Islamic art – geometry, calligraphy and floral forms. Amber who has received commissions from the royal family designed a carpet for the painting gallery at Buckingham Palace. She currently has a studio at Cockpit Arts in Deptford.
