Yes, we’ve booked another wild swim session at Beckenham Place Park and do hope you will be able to join us. We had such a great time last year we thought it would be nice to repeat the experience! There are lifeguards and all swimmers are required to wear a buoyancy aid while swimming. Yes, the water is a bit cold and it does take a bit of time to get used to the temperature but once you’re off swimming it genuinely doesn’t feel too cold at all – honest! And of course there’s the lovely Homestead Cafe for a warm drink and cake as a reward. The cost of the session is £6.50 for Lewisham residents.
