This month Drew Sinclair will be teaching us all about the Japanese art of paper folding – Origami. Origami, (from Japanese oru (to fold) and kami (paper) is the art of folding objects out of paper, to create both two-dimensional and three-dimensional subjects. This type of paper manipulation has many benefits, like developing eye-hand coordination, sequencing skills, memory, attention skills, patience, math reasoning and can bring about a calming sense of peace and mindfulness.
